Mubla Na Thguob If you like to play drums on your steering wheel then you'll probably like this. Favorite track: Lessons Learned.

Zhakathoom Starting 2016 with a rummaging through my wishlist:

I got to love this album through the song Ode to the morning star, which Mike had the foresight and great taste to include on the HRR compilation. One of the very best songs on one of the very best compilations out there. Favorite track: Ode To The Morning Star.

douglas c richardson I wish that I lived in Canada and could see them live. Wiser Fool encompasses all that is ROCK. Excellent vocals, melody, guitar tone, and a sound that reminds you of other bands but is unique to Wiser Fool. Favorite track: Ode To The Morning Star.
Eric Kruse

Eric Kruse This is a great record. It hits all my hard rock g-spots! Excellent riffage, rumbling bass lines, powerful drums, and cool vocals! Deciding a favorite track is the hard part! Favorite track: Ode To The Morning Star.

FDJ (Desert Psychlist) Wiser Fool return with another slab of excellent hard/stoner rock. A little less doomier than their last effort but what you lose on the doom you gain on the ROCK! Favorite track: What Is In Your Head?.
Morts

Morts Again, we are presented with an album that has no need of time to grow on you as its appeal is instant and strong! This time around one would be less inclined to associate the term "doomy" with the sound than their eponymous debut (generally speaking) as the songs mostly move at a rock 'n' roll pace, which I personally think broaden their appeal even more greatly! Favorite track: The Anchor.

With you upon that cross And him upon the throne You live a life enchanted And pledge allegiance to the horns Candle lit the room was Five point circle, ‘round Gathered to give praises Words that echo in my mind… All that you left behind All that you left behind Long lost ‘till the end of time All that you left behind Full moon night I met her Obsidian her eyes Hand out stretched to greet me I feel the knife across my palm Blood unites our souls now Two creating one Priestess of the black arts One who summons life from fire All that you left behind All that you left behind Long lost ‘till the end of time All that you left behind

Should you not learn your lesson before you walk away If only you'd have listened to half of what I say You'd be better off now, if only you'd have prayed For someone to love you, but only sadness stayed What went wrong? What went wrong? What went wrong? What went wrong? And though I never told you, I long to see the day Now my chance to hold you, is another one I'll waste You know you had it comin', what you summoned here one day An evil beast is risin', disguising all you say What went wrong? What went wrong? What went wrong? What went wrong? I see the lie on your face It’s brought you such disgrace What went wrong? Put you in your place Left you without haste What went wrong?

Will you walk alone into the night? Tonight, tonight! The air is cold, a truth's been told. Tonight, tonight! The evening's filled with such awful fright. Tonight, tonight! The world it turns, a fire burns. Tonight, tonight! Crimson light comes from her eyes. A thousand points of light in my mind. Come to me this darkened night. Words you've learned, a subtle curse. And when I look deep in your eyes, I see the darkness rise. Open ties, unto the night… Tonight, Tonight!

The lies they are bold The one's you've been told And what you've been sold Keeps you controlled It's by design, to capture your mind You'll be fine Just get in line Who would've thought Violence you wrought Chaos is your sign Lonely is the single eye Guardians of religious lie Spells cast on the mass of the minds What is in your head? Now that you know What will you do? Been searching for answers But you ain’t got a clue Your pedestal high, caged in your minds No one to help you No one around One that thing you've lost Can never be found Chaos is your design No love from the single eye Solace in the end of time Shadows cast on the back of the mind

Evil takes flight in the night time Conjured by those who believe Flame of the fire does enchant you Real, though your eyes do deceive The fog forms a figure before me Shifting of shapes in my eyes I’ll not sell my soul to the Devil I’ll merely just lease it for a while Do you think about ever getting out? Would you give it all, just to avoid the fall? Scent of seas and trees has brought you back to me Not for long, I know, our love it has to go Evil, the beasts all around me Which beckon me here, deep inside Those who among us are ageless Cage-less ’til the end of time Out of our heads creeps the madness A sadness you cannot believe This is an ode to the night time And the star of the morning that shines Slither serpent back away Satan’s servants here to stay Evil coven coming yr way Light & darkness interplay

Moon child come from afar Never knowing where you really are Shattered sky and the lightning shun Electrify the minds of everyone All our thoughts are yours as well Listen closely to the voice which tells You've succumb to carnal desire As each one sparks another fire Deep in you… Can you feel it? Yes we can. A cloaked figure moving slowly close From the dead you have arose Initiation of a mystic path Numbers always mean much more than math Yes we can do this work for you Just tell us what we have to do If you shed blood in its name Will it ever be the same again? (It’s…) Deep in you… Can you feel it? Yes we can. Can you sense its touch? Can you feel the clutch? If it’s all too much for you… Is it too late to walk away? And though you’d like to go You can’t with all you know Inside it’s only fear that grows And it’s got a strangle hold... Oh…. (It’s…) Deep in you… Can you feel it? Yes we can.

The Anchor 04:29
If love is the anchor that binds me to your word Than truth is the answer which guides me through this world Question, don’t mention the lies of those others you heard ‘Cause out of the darkness, into the silence they’re hurled Lulled into a dreamless sleep Why'd you wake me, fantasy? If the river of life has you paddling forever upstream As real as it seems, quite likely it’s all just a dream You tell me you’ll save me, free me from this miserable world ‘Cause love is the anchor that ties me to your word There is nothing you're hiding from me Something you know and only you see What you're asking takes more than belief What comes to my heart is more than relief

Untruths 03:24
So many times I have tried just to break thru Time after time, in my mind, I will take you And even when you wake, it feels fake, and yet it's so true Coming of the Snake is it too late to help you? Soon you’ll finally choose your side... So, why do you lie? x3 Why do you even try? Barely hangin’ on by a thread, I can't hold you Living like you do, but you know you will die, too Crawlin’ out of shadows, it's the spirit chose to guide me Heaven is the answer, 'cause in Hell you'll never be free Soon you'll find you're all alone inside... So, why do you lie? x3 Why do you even try? Soon you'll find you were so blind...

See, what you see is what you get Real, so very real you can't forget Be, or not to be full of regret Reveal, once you reveal there's nothing left ...To hide behind imaginary lines Realize your life is hollow Before you shine, you have a little wine Comfort in your need to wallow Recognize the mystical inside No one knows which fate to follow With tears in your eyes, it comes as no surprise The truth is very hard to swallow I tried, but I just never made it through to you The reason why I never lied Is the same old reason I said good-bye All those times you questioned what I do, and you Just wish away a better day, You better say that you’ve come to stay ...Don’t hide behind imaginary lines Realize your life is hollow Before you shine, you have a little wine Comfort in your need to wallow Recognize the mystical inside No one knows which fate to follow With tears in your eyes, it comes as no surprise The truth is very hard to swallow Hey you... What will you do?... Am I comin' through?... All I do, I do for you... Tell me you're always true
